This shot is of a couple of 1957 Chevrolets, They have sat here as long as I can remember, so long in fact that the very shelter that they were once protected by has collapsed and a tree has grown into the bumper. They are most likely destined to be hauled in for scrap metal eventually so I enjoy getting the chance to preserve them in the only way that I can.
Hi, I am in the middle of doing a portfolio of cars that I have found throughout the east coast that I have happened to catch on film that are rotting in a field or at random farmhouses throughout West Virginia and South Carolina, since obviously Im not a very good artist, lol. I live in Charleston and would like to get some pics of these cars for my scrapbook. I had no idea that there were any just rotting away in cedar grove. Are these cars on Belle Creek or are they on a side road off of those.? I was visiting a friend on Kelly's creek and didnt see them but I may be missing something or didnt go in far enough. It was dark so I may have missed them. Any help is appreciated. You do beautfiul work by the way
Those are located near Cedar Grove, somewhat towards bell creek. They have been there for as long as I can remember. I don't think anybody even lives in the house anymore.
